How does YOUR Garden GROW...

Jett just hanging out!

Grandma and Grandpa Thomas put in a large garden this summer...we have tried to help as much as we could pulling weeds, and picking the vegtables. Megan and Melanie's favorite part is picking the vegtables. Melanie every time we are up at Granpa T's she runs straight to the watermellons and checks on them and tells us how big they are getting, and every time we remind her that they are "NOT READY YET"! Jett's favorite part is watching and enjoying the clean country air. Next year he'll be running around in the dirt with his big sisters...how fun!

Crazy about CHICKENS!

Melanie loves Grandpa T's Chicks...
The white one is her favorite...
She has named it Princess
I love watching crazy Mel play with her chicks...everday all day long she could hang out at Grandpa T's. She also loves helping feed the chicks and collecting the eggs from the chickens.
What a GIRL....a Country GIRL for SURE!!!

Just HORSING Around!

Last Year of Pre-School!

Saying goodbye to Jett...

Bye MOM...
Can I Go Yet?
Melanie LOVES her school...she loves her teacher Mrs. Jones...and loves being a big girl like MEGAN! Most of her friends started kindergarten this year and she feels a little left out. So we make sure we do lots of fun things on the days she doesn't have pre-school. Personally I am glad I have one more year home with my little partner she is a big helper and play mate for Jett.

Third Grade here we COME!

Megan started the third grade...WOW...I can't believe it! She seems so grown up lately. I took her school shopping and she informed me what was "HER" style and what was not! I was totally thrown off my game! She is such a sweetheart and loves everyone!

Jett's 4 Month update

August 3rd, Jett turned 4 months! He is growing so fast and as you can tell he is one big boy! He weighed in at 16.8 lbs and he was 26 in. long. He started rolling over shortly after turning 4 months and he is loving his rice cereal. I love kissing those plump cheeks and making him giggle. Love him so much and can't imagine life with out him.

Driving Trails...what a view!
Pete his dad and his brother Tim enjoy the same hobby...JEEPING. Driving Jeep Trails, and Fixing up Jeeps are usually what these guys are day dreaming about.... (I figure there could be worse hobbies). Just about every summer they plan a trip to Silverton Colorado and enjoy the cool weather, and beautiful Jeep trails. This is usually a guys only trip but Megan was able to go this year. She enjoyed every minute!

I love this face...

Gibson Reunion 2009

The whole clan now 154 strong!

Grandpa Gibson and 6 of his children.
The grandchildren
My siblings and I singing with Dad...

This summer we had a big Bruce and Rowene Gibson Reunion in Farmington Utah over the 24th of July weekend. Grandpa Gibson always talks about what number we are individually as part of his family. #1 starting with him, #2 grandma then his children, their spouses, grandchildren, spouses and finally great grandchildren. Well now we are are 154...(my Jett is #153). So we had t-shirts made up the front says "Hello my number is..." and the back has all of us listed in order with our numbers the entire family! I guess its more of a family joke, but the shirts were fun and cute! I am so thankful for my family and my heritage...families are forever.

Families are Forever...

Taylor, Ivy, Aunt Julie...
Uncle Gary, James, Sabrina...

Susie, Brad, Ben, and Grandpa

Angie, Darin, and Ben...

We know these guys!

The 2009 Bruce and Rowene Gibson Reunion was a hit! With lots of planning and organizing it was all worth it to catch up and spend time as an extended family. We had a wonderful luncheon, then we were entertained with a program which every family participated in. After the program the adults played some volleyball while the little ones played at the play ground! Thank you Ben and Cheryl for being such great hosts! We had a great time during our stay in Farmington...what a fun vacation...love you guys!

LAGOON!

After the Parade on the 24th (hot and tired) we mustered up excitement and energy and spent the rest of the day at Lagoon. It was perfect, overcast weather and not crowded! We played hard and crashed hard it was fun...I love going to Lagoon we have such great family memories there.

24th of July Parade...The REAL Deal!

A few of my favorite floats...

President Eyring

The kiddos

Front row seats!

I've always heard about how big the 24th of July Parade in Salt Lake City...but to actually be there was even BIGGER! We had an amazing spot picked out that my cousins camped out the night before and saved for us. Ben, Brianna, Brooke and I went down and hung out with them from 11pm-2am. We had fun and saw some crazy stuff on the streets that night! People brought blow-up mattresses, BBQ grills, big screen projectors...you name it! It was a fun experiance and let me tell you the parade was well worth the wait! There were amazing floats, and we even got a glimpse of President Erying!
